Gianna Capra

Producer
Gianna Capra is a producer and writer/director with nearly a decade of experience in the industry. Primarily working in the Chicagoland area, she has produced, worked in upper production, directed, assistant directed, and PA’d on everything from independent features, to union shows, commercials, corporate shoots, web series, and more. Her accolades include a 2022 Tribeca Film Festival premiere of “Rounding,” a medical psychological thriller that her company, [REDACTED] Entertainment, produced. And a limited docuseries she production coordinated for, called “Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist,” which #2 on Netflix in August of 2022. Gia is an ambitious, solution-oriented thinker who is excited to be on with Kernel for the upcoming films “What Rhymes with Magdalena,” shooting in August of 2023, “The Killing Moon,” shooting October of 2023, and more. She is in development with a mob movie of her own, called “Dedicated to the One I Love.”

Rosebud Harrison

Producer
Rosebud is a producer & actor based in Chicago, Illinois. She began acting as a kindergartener in regional theatres around North Carolina, then moved to Chicago for college. Rose earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Roosevelt University & the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Throughout her career, Rosebud has worked both on and off stage/screen to become a well rounded storyteller in the entertainment industry. She has worked as a production assistant on several union TV shows such as Deli Boys (Hulu, Spring 2025), Chicago Med (NBC Universal), Saturdays (Disney+), and Dark Matter (Apple TV). Rosebud has expanded her work to producing & production coordinating on What Rhymes with Magdalena (Kernel, 2023) and The Killing Moon (Kernel, 2024).

Jake Prine

Line Producer
Jake Prine got his start as a self-produced writer, debuting with his short film “Moustache” (2020). Creating a network of like-minded collaborators allowed him to quickly land himself on the Chicago sets for the drama series “The Chi” and the comedy series “Work in Progress”. His background as a video marketing manager for UW Madison has since allowed Prine to parlay his practical, on-set experience into overseeing the logistical needs of Chicago indie projects such as Grant Troyer’s “Tagged” (2022) and Sweet Void Cinema’s “What Rhymes with Magdalena” (2024) as well as creative producing and consulting jobs on a host of other indie shorts and web series. Prine is currently producing Kernel Production’s F*ck You, Big Pharma” and “War For Christmas” while developing his own sci-fi horror project titled “The Gub”.
